For us to thoroughly answer this question for you let us first define astrology. According to dictionary.com, astrology is the study that assumes and attempts to interpret the influence of the heavenly bodies on human affairs. Keep the words assumes and attempts in your mind as you read this article.
The planets and the star constellation are the two ingredients used by astrologers in defining horoscopes and birth charts. For the past 70 plus years westerners have believed that there were 9 planets in our solar system and that our sun passes through 12 star constellations. This is where we get the famous 12 zodiac signs from.
I’m sure that that the majority of you reading this are familiar with your so- called zodiac sign. What you aren’t familiar with is the fact that the western zodiac was drawn up and based off of the Babylonian zodiac. When the Babylonians drew up their zodiac they combined two of the zodiac signs, Scorpio and Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus was not included in the new western zodiac, which was developed over 2,000 years ago.
Things get even more complicated when we consider the earth rotation changes that have took place over the past 2,000 years. I don’t want to over complicate things, but these earth changes have altered the original dates that signs start and end. (Below I have the new dates posted for each zodiac sign.)
When the westerners drew up the zodiac they made each sign 30 degrees each or approixmately 30 days long. This was another mistake made by the westerners. Zodiac signs vary in degrees (days they come and go out), hence some signs are as short as 7 degrees (days) and others are as long as 42 degrees (days).
Why  am I sharing this information?
On December the 19, 2010 I changed the world for westerners. I released this information via my radio show (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/neterra/2010/12/19/13-sign-astrology) and it changed western astrology forever. My exposing this information sparked a new revolution which is the merging of western astrology with astronomy. Many news sources took up this story in January of 2011, including but not limited to FOX and CNN.
Here is a article put out by TIME Magazine earlier this year to prove to you my point:
Though I didn’t create the concept of 13 signs astrology I surely popularized it, here in the west. This information was taught to me by a wise Nigerian Sage.
This information was not received to well by some because it changes their zodiac sign. Many people have gotten tattoos of the wrong zodiac signs on various body parts. It is time for people to stop running from the truth and face the reality that the western version of the zodiac is incorrect and needs to be retired. Until this is done many TRUE scientist will dismiss astrology as a pseudo science. I perform very accurate 13 Sign astrology readings for less than $20 bucks, if your interested email me here, 13signsastrology@gmail.com, and if you subscribe to my news letter I offer free horoscopes weekly.
Thank You for reading and please read my other articles!
Have a prosperous day…
